2014, where'd ya go?

I really can't figure out where 2014 went. It's been a whirlwind of a year, and I feel like the holidays start tomorrow (that could be because the temp won't get above 40 tomorrow, the weatherfolks said to enjoy today as its our last nice one until April, yay.)

Still, I wanted to chronicle these last few months as this has been a beautiful, #basic fall in my life.

--One lumberjack festival attended. #chopsmart #trustthewood

--Many bottles of red wine consumed #postwhole30

--a visit from one of my favorite people, complete with a trip to a vineyard, a treasure hunt, and progressive drinking photos.

--the most exuberant reaction from the family dog on a visit to the family.

--getting involved with the November Project, and for some reason thinking nothing of waking up at 5:55 a.m.to run up and down a hill.

--a house-warming potluck hosted that resulted in an abundance of desserts and pimento cheese left in my fridge. Not complaining.

--a three-day Halloween bonanza.

--lots of lady time, including red wine Tuesday, because why not?

--Scandalhood/Getting Away with Scandal Nights (Thursday night TV is too good).

--Getting caught up on The Newsroom just in time for the final season.

--Soaking in all the foliage in three states.

--planning fun trips for #Year30
